What Does it Mean to be Totally Disabled?

Instead, total disability means the person is not able to perform their prior work or to obtain other reasonably gainful employment. These cases often involve vocational issues. If you suffer a significant disability, you should seek legal counsel with expertise and experience in workers’ compensation and vocational issues.
